George Holani is the team’s leading rusher with 692 yards and five touchdowns while John Hightower is the leading receiver with 754 yards and six touchdowns. The Boise defense is led by Curtis Weaver, who has 42 tackles and 12.5 sacks. He is also questionable for this game with a foot injury.

Utah State heating up

Utah State is riding a two-game win streak coming into this weekend. The Aggies are coming off a 26-21 win at home over Wyoming. Utah State is now 6-4 on the season, 5-1 in the Mountain West, 6-4 against the spread and 6-4 with the under.

The Aggies are middle of the road on offense and defense. They are giving up 26.7 points and 431.2 yards per contest, while the offense is putting up 28 points and 434.2 yards per game. Jordan Lovehas thrown for 2,684 yards and 13 touchdowns, but he also has 14 interceptions. He is questionable for this game with an undisclosed injury. Boise State has a great defense that should be able to contain the Utah State offense. The Broncos have been playing to their competition a little bit as of late and if that continues, this is likely going to be a low-scoring game. When factoring in the injuries, it just strengthens my feelings that the point total will be low.
